SPOOKTACULAR HALLOWEEN IDEAS!!

Fun party games & crafts

Mummy Wrap - this is a big hit and super easy to do!  Play this game at a party or even a scout meeting... pair off the kids with a partner.  Give each team a roll of toilet paper and set a timer... one member of the team has to wrap the other one head to toe in toilet paper to become a mummy!  After the timer goes off, see which team has the fullest mummy wrap!!  Then switch and the wrapper becomes the wrappee!!

Ring Toss - craft project and game!  Give all the children a popsicle stick and construction paper, glue, misc. craft supplies.  Have each child make a halloween related figure and glue it to the stick.  Stick all of these in a bale of hay ... stand back and enjoy a game of ring toss!

Pumpkin Decorating - If you have a pumpkin that you don't want to make a jack o lantern, have fun decorating it.  Use stickers, googly eyes, markers, and glue.  Stick some yarn for hair!  This is a great activity that children of all ages can do and then put out on display.

Bowling for Ghoulies - Pick up a plastic bowling set with pins and a ball.  Cover each pin with a square piece of white cloth, tie it around the pin with some yarn at the 'neck' of the pin.  Decorate the cloth to make ghostly faces - stand them up and you have a set of ghost pins!

Pin the Nose on the Pumpkin - A twist on an old favorite - easy party game.  Make a giant pumpkin out of poster board - draw a cute face on it.  Cut out some 'noses' of different shapes and sizes, get a blindfold and you are set!

Guess what this is - Put some 'gross' things in buckets and have the children try to guess what it is.  Blindfold them and they can put their hands in the buckets - grapes can be 'eye balls', spaghetti can be 'guts' (yuck!), sticks can be 'bones' !
